Whilst visiting Stirling Castle on our recent trip to the UK, Rowan was shocked to discover that a good friend of his - Holly - had been locked up in one of the castle's towers by his evil adviser (aka Iliane). Holly (who incidentally is one of the characters from his favorite cartoon Phineas and Ferb) had been shut up for 2 days without food or water and it was up to Sir Rowan to rescue her.

After concocting a daring rescue plan - which he executed perfectly - Rowan was able to whisk Holly to safety... just in time for a spot of lunch and an ice cream.

Now who says that children with autism don't have any imagination?

Rowan - who is always eager to learn - then spent the rest of his visit to the castle eagerly discovering as much about castles as he could including how they were designed for defense.
