The weekend started with Ms. Trinket entering my room for a wake up call. There is nothing more adorable than a mini inside the house. It was a beautiful start to a beautiful weekend.
It's December 26th, and as we all know, the day after Christmas. Up until I was 15 Christmas meant the usual, spending all day with my Mom and three older brothers.
The other day Meghan (one of Rowan's current 'ladies') was feeding our birds (at last count 7 ducks, 4 ducklings, 5 laying chickens, 3 baby chicks and 2 baby guinea fowl) when she discovered a snake hanging out in one of the nesting boxes.

This week we hosted our gathering we call Salon. We talked about Change. We had the chance to talk about how fear of change balances with excitement about change and how trepidation and excitement are so closely linked and how we are better able to manage our fear of change when we feel connected and supported.

And so began a glorious day at New Trails Learning.
