Of all the autism training I've done, the Horseboy has been the best! Uses logic from both neurotypical and autistic points of view, with the added scientific research to back it up... Fabulous!
I'm looking forward to another day at Hy Court Farm. we have enthusiastic horse folks from many parts of Texas and Oregon, Louisiana, Maryland, and British Columbia. And the horses are loving the work we are doing, under saddle and on the ground.
Marvel and Spirit are here from The Horse Boy Foudation and it is a tribute to the attitude and skill of Rupert Isaacson and Iliana Lorenz that the horses from their foundation LOVE people and obviously love the life they have interacting and sharing themselves with kids and adults with autism.
P.S. took Method 1 training from Rupert at Joell's 2/9 & 10 - LOVED it!!! I'm totally hooked. It blew my mind, so wonderful to find other with similar thinking and approach;-)

I worked a trampoline into many sessions this week and one of my long term kids (ASD) used some of the phrases we've been working on. Usually she uses one in a heavily elicited context, repetitively in the activity. That time she used three, mixed together – and correctly – in one activity. It was great to see.
