Experience a traditional English hunting day together. The inclusive idea is being implemented by the New Trail’s association on the farm of Henrich and Gitti Berkhofff in Münsterland. Many thanks to all supporters and helpers, especially the Weser vale hunt e.V. association around Fiona Frfr. von Elverfeldt who leads the pack. It is very exciting when the group of inclusive riders presents the first line, which is then picked up and followed by the group of experienced riders and the dogs. The experienced riders then continue on 3 to 4 more “lines”. Natural obstacles such as ricks, hedges and ditches have to be overcome. It is possible to follow the course of the hunt without jumping. The “music” in the field is made by the dogs and the huntsman’s horn.
We can get to know the British tradition all day long and start with the traditional English hunt. We receive a first-hand introduction on site with background and historical explanations. After the hunt there will be hunt tea, sandwiches and port in Gitti and Henrich’s barn. This is an unusual event which is taking place in Germany for the second time.
