Since starting Equine assisted therapy we have seen so many aspects of our son’s life change for the better. Before, he really struggled with expressing himself in an acceptable manner and never had any interest in playing with children. As he is nonverbal we found it hard to know what he wanted. Since starting equine therapy he finds it easier to express himself. He is pointing to the thing he wants instead of hand walking us to it and we find these combined have made life at home so much easier and more relaxed for all of us. Through joining this group we have seen him learn how to interact with other children in an environment that he enjoys which allows him to pick things up quicker and reduce the amount of stress when learning new things
