I run a care farm where I offer activities on both day time and sleep overs in the weekends.
Using horses, milking cows, cats and rabbits in my activities, I can serve a lot of different target groups. I work with children and adolescents with different kinds of special needs.
On the farm I have an outdoor riding arena, a playground and an apartment to use at all times. This offers space to work in all year round. In wintertime we also have cross country skiing tracks starting at the farm.
The horses are of big value in the care farm work, where they can teach self-esteem and give confidence in both riding and ground work. My horses are carefully selected for this work and are doing a great job, while I just stand at the sideline creating the opportunity to make beautiful things happen!
Working with the horse boy and movement method shows how much animals and nature have to offer to people, and I hope to help a lot of families this way.
