Celebrating Connection and Collaboration
Tribe Day brought together practitioners and friends from across Ireland and around the world. Over several days we exchanged knowledge, explored the Horse Boy Method, Takhin Equine Integration, and liberty work, and looked ahead to how equine-assisted practices can continue to grow — not just in Ireland, but globally.
What made this gathering so powerful wasn’t only the techniques demonstrated, but the conversations: about building sustainable hubs, about the role of thoroughbreds in therapy, about creating real employment opportunities for people with additional needs, and about ensuring that horses themselves thrive in this work.
A Step Toward the Future
Helene’s article highlights voices from across the equine and therapy worlds — from practitioners to visionaries dreaming up the next generation of equine therapy centres. It’s encouraging to see this dialogue take root, and we’re grateful to everyone who contributed their ideas, presence, and energy to Tribe Day.
