I first heard of The Horse boy method in 2022 and became quickly interested in the benefits and how it works. I attended the 2 day Movement Method work shop in Child vision with Rupert and was blown away, firstly by his passion and secondly by all it had to offer. We first started attending Child vision for equine therapy in 2023 and I’m so delighted we did.
I can clearly see the effects and benefits we have gained from it, ranging from simple enjoyment, sensory regulation, relearning skills, improvement in vocalisations and assisting with bowel movements.
The biggest advantage our sessions have given us is improving how our daughter communicates her choices (with her now pointing clearly to indicate her wishes) this has changed our daily life hugely by virtually eradicating her frustration at not being understood.
