An alternative sports day with welly wanging, sack races and a bucking bronco is being held in Cholderton on June 3 in aid of charity.

Called the Altogether Olympics, the event is raising money for The Horse Boy Foundation which helps autistic children find communication through horses.

Anna Ross Davies of Altogether Equestrian which is hosting the event, said: “We’re hoping as many people as possible will come along, say hello to the horses and cheer us on, or enter a team and help us raise money for this fantastic charity.

“Founder Rupert Isaacson is flying over from Texas for the event, and will be talking about the amazing work they do.”

The day will also feature cakes, a prize raffle and a dressage to music demonstration by Ross Davies who is an international dressage rider.
